Homework

  • Spend at least five minutes in prayer, thanking Him for the new identity those in Christ get to experience. Come to Him as His child, remembering that He is your Father.

  • Grab a journal and reflect on what you’ve learned in applying the metanarrative of scripture to your identity.

    • Pretend you’re talking to someone who has never heard the term “image of God.” How would you explain this concept to them? How does being made in the image of God change our view of humanity?

    • How did man’s identity shift with the fall?

    • If we are in Christ, what is now true about our identity?

    • For those in Christ, what do we get to look forward to with the restoration of our identities?

  • Share your reflection with other believers. Not sure where to start? Head to the Rooted Women Facebook group and share where you think God is asking you to grow as you walk through this course.
